Pig Iron
Pig Iron
Pig Iron is produced by reducing iron ore with carbon monoxide and carbon in blast furnace. Raw materials in blast furnace are iron ore, metallurgical coke and/or charcoal and suitable fluxes like dolomite, lime etc.
Ingots of pig iron are re-dissolved via cupolas, induction furnaces, and electric arc furnaces, and become a source of steel material and a cast iron metal for products.
Our company mainly imports several kinds of pig iron from Brazil, China and Russia and sells it to the domestic automobile related enterprises and the machine tool manufacturers.
